Program and Project Leadership
Who I Am

At the center of every role I’ve held—whether in the classroom, in project leadership, or in cross-agency collaboration—is a simple motivation: I want to be helpful.

I began my career in education before completing my degree, working directly with at-risk students as an Academic Interventionist. It was there I first experienced the impact of being a consistent, trusted adult in the lives of young people. That foundation shaped how I approach every role that followed—not just as a professional, but as someone who values empathy, structure, and connection in equal measure.

My path has taken me from classroom teaching and homeschooling to statewide systems change. In my current work as a Project Director and Program Evaluation Coordinator, I help lead SMART 2.0 and support the Special Education team at the Idaho Department of Education. I manage complex grant-funded initiatives, build strategic frameworks, and design data systems that prioritize efficiency, clarity, and equity. I’m especially drawn to the behind-the-scenes work—curating processes, gathering stakeholder insights, and refining implementation to make things work better for real people doing real work.

Across every setting, I’ve found the same fulfillment: identifying what’s needed, building thoughtfully toward that goal, and making sure the people involved feel supported, capable, and heard. I care deeply about how things get done—and just as deeply about the people doing them.
